A Maryland native, Dr. Danielle Kerr has lived in Frederick county since she was 15. She grew up in a big, homeschooled family and learned to be very self-motivated and hard-working, and has always loved spending time outdoors and being very active. After attending FCC, Danielle transferred to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2007. This began her dental career as a hygienist, right here at Frederick Dental.
After practicing hygiene for 9 years, Danielle’s love of dentistry and passion for continued learning and professional growth led her to return to UMSOD once again. It was a grueling endeavor that took six years to complete, taking classes while still continuing to work part time and raising three children with her husband, Steve, with a lot of additional support from her mom and in-laws. Following graduation, Dr. Kerr began working as an associate dentist at Middletown Valley Dentistry, where she obtained a broad range of experience including implant placement and restoration, invisalign, surgical extractions, wisdom tooth removal, partial and complete dentures, cosmetic bonding, and traditional crown and bridge work. Dr. Kerr has developed a reputation for being both compassionate and competent, and is sought after for her gentle manner. Since graduation she has continued to further her education and skills through numerous CE courses and attending local study clubs, with no intention of slowing down.
It was a dream come true for Dr. Kerr when she was able to purchase Frederick Dental from Dr. Adam Frieder at the end of 2024. Since then, she has been working hard to bring her personal touch to the office and making Frederick Dental Solutions a warm environment that emanates both tranquility and efficiency. She wants every patient to feel comfortable and welcome. Dr Kerr looks forward to seeing you soon!
